On behalf of the Executive, our fantastic volunteers and our staff, I would like to welcome everyone to Branch 60. We are YOUR Legion, open to everyone. You do not have to be a member to visit our lounge & museum and enjoy our hospitality including our pool tables, dart boards and entertainment. We encourage everyone to consider joining and volunteering for such activities as our Friday Fish & Chips. Enjoy yourself and we hope to see you often. - President Murray Sutherland
Next GENERAL MEETING - Tues. April 30 @ 7 p.m.
Please ensure your membership is current and join us for this important General Meeting at which time elections will be held for the positions of President, Vice Presidents (3) and Secretary. The Branch shall elect a total of 6 Executive Committee members.
Membership Matters
We have exactly 100 members who joined, renewed or reinstated their membership for 2023 but not yet for 2024. If you have paid for 2024, please check with the Bar Steward, in case your card/sticker is waiting for you there.
If you are planning to attend our General/Elections Meeting on April 30, you must be a CURRENT member, i.e. paid for 2024.
Hope to see you there. We need your participation.
Remember, the Membership Committee is available on Tuesdays, Noon until 2 p.m. in the Branch. They provide a nice friendly way to renew your membership.

RCAF marks 100th Anniversary
April 1st marked the 100th Anniversary of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Learn more about the history of the RCAF by watching this video produced by the folks at Legion Magazine.
Come in for Thursday night dinner!
Chef Gail and hubby Don are eager to satisfy the Thursday evening pre-karaoke appetites. The April 25th meal will be bbq'd ribs, baked potato & salad. Remember, please let the bar know by 6 p.m. TUESDAY if you want to join us for the following Thursday dinner.

VETERANS - Free tax return service!
Again this year, our friends at Edelkoort Smethurst Chartered Professional Accountants LLP are offering veterans their services for free to complete their T1 tax returns for 2023. See more info HERE.
Stop in for LUNCH!
The Ladies' Auxiliary is back with LUNCH offerings from Noon-2 p.m. weekdays. Come on in and enjoy a sandwich, soup, burger, fries - whatever is on the menu that day - and help support your Branch.
Our current Lounge hours are:
Sunday - CLOSED (Except for Sun. Social Dance)
Monday - Noon to 11 p.m. (NEW)
Tuesday - NOON to 6 p.m. (Sometimes later - please call)
Wednesday - NOON to 11 p.m.
Thurs., Fri. & Sat. - NOON to Midnight
(Thursday Karaoke runs 6:30-10:30 pm. Friday and Saturday entertainment runs 7-11 pm. Sunday night dances upstairs 7-10 p.m.)

Saturday BINGO!
Come on in and enjoy our Saturday afternoon BINGO. We play a total of 20 games in about two hours. Join us from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Lounge. Everyone is welcome!
DARTS anyone?
We now feature Blind Draw Darts every Friday night from 7:45 - 10:30 p.m. The entry fee is $3 and all are welcome!
Our facility is proud to be fully accessible thanks, in part, to the Ontario Trillium Foundation. It granted Branch 60 $147,000 for capital improvements: the new membrane roof and replacement of four old repair-prone refrigeration units. View the media release HERE.
