Royal Canadian Legion
We are deeply saddened by the passing of Comrade Jane Richardson.
Jane was a life member of the Legion having thirty years membership. She was Recording Secretary of Branch 60 for the past 12 years and Secretary of the Zone B6 for the past 15 years. Jane was also actively involved with the Poppy Campaign for 25 years. She was married to one time Branch President Bob Richardson (deceased in 2017). She was active with the Compassionate Society and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Branch 60. View her obituary here. We send our sincere condolences to her family.
The COVID lockdown means we are not open to the public. However, our popular Friday Fish & Chips PICKUP ONLY is continuing as the Ontario government's Stay-At-Home Order continues to allow curbside pickup at restaurants.
Only $12 cash (NEW PRICE DUE TO INCREASED FISH COST) for a delicious meal of Haddock and fries! More info HERE.
In the meantime, we encourage everyone to stay safe!
Wellington Square United Church is collecting food for Burlington's needy which in the time of the pandemic is of urgent importance. Branch 60 will have a collection box at the front door adjacent to our Fish & Chips cashier every Friday from 5 to 6:30 pm. Everyone is strongly encouraged to donate food items for this cause.
The City of Burlington has officially named the Cenotaph area beside City Hall as VETERAN SQUARE. See the official release and more HERE.
